Since summer 2021, visual sociologist David Schalliol has been traveling throughout the Alzette-Belval territory, channeling residents’ perspectives about the region while seeking a unique point of view. In the process, he has visited dozens of towns, nature preserves, and even underground mines; spoken with innumerable residents; and meditated on the character of this unique region. The resulting photographs are featured in the Agora Café and theatrical performances.
